First week in English 8 was nice. It was nice to start from bottom and learn basic stuff about speaking to another person and ofcourse learn some stuff about pronansiation.
What I really liked was the video about differenses in American and Brittish English and job interview. Why I liked those things? Because it was something different and new.
During the next weeks in English 8 I hope that we could watch more videos of differenses in American and Brittish English and more nice stuff... :)

Second week was also nice. Basically week one and two were quite similar. This week we talked about driving it was nice to discover how much you can talk about it even if you don't know all those fancy words...
VastaaPoistaListening exam was good way to practise to matruculation exam it is good that we are going to have another listening exam.
In the end of 2nd week we had to make a story in groups. Fun part of that was that we had to use imagination. We laughed a lot while making our story about the president, baby on drugs and a random man.
Hard part was trying to retell another group's story... But it went quite well.
Now I am just waiting to next weeks lessons! :)
Third week was also as nice as previous weeks. Major difference of this week was that we had a foster teacher Antti. He was actually better teacher than I expected. This week was mosty about word stress etc.
VastaaPoistaThe best thing about this week was when we had that airplane crash in Sahara exersice. In my group it was easy to solve how to act and which items are the most important.
This cource has changed to better and better by every week lets just hope that level keeps rising!
Fourth week started like three another weeks. It was nice to see those old oral exams. Now Iam just worried am I able to do the oral exam because it sounded quite hard... But let see.
VastaaPoistaThis week was also about depating. It was actually quite nice. Even if our topic was hard to defend. Because i stronly disagreed the hall pas for one day thing and I had to defend it. Lucily me and my team managed to get 2 points out of 8:D.
We could do more depating but in samller groups because 8 versus 8 is too much people depating about same thing at the same time. So it could be funnier in saller groups...
Second to last week of course 8...
VastaaPoistaLast depate went actually quite well. I managed to say my opinion though I had desided not to say anything. but I could not help myself I had to say something!
We also played mafioso but it didn't went so well. Because my team mates didn't remember the rules so most of the time was about retelling the rules. When that was finally over we started our game. It could have went better because noone suspected or do anything else either. We just played until mafiosos had won the game...
In bigger and more active groups the game would have went differently.
I am also a litlle bit worried about the oral exam especially part 2 which in my opinion is the hardest part... I just hope that the subject is easy so I have the words so I can retell it to Jenni. But I hope for the best and scare for the worst.
My las entry is about oral exam. Me and Jenni were really nervous about the exam whem we were left to practise our texts. My topics were about driving and it was actually quite nice subject. I think that 1st section went well. But the 2nd didn´t. I froze several times but I hope that it didn´t low my grade too much. I was happy that I managed to tell the whole text to Jenni and we had time to discuss about the questions. 3rd part was my favourite part. We chose Jenni´s subject which was about wasted recycling opportunities. So, we decided to speak about clothes and how we can recycle them. I could have talk about that longer than we had time. I was happy that we managed to speak whole time and I wasn´t the only who talked...
VastaaPoistaI am glad that the oral exam is over, it wasn´t that bad, but I am happy if I don´t have to do it again. Because it causes more stress than normal exam...
