I was kinda looking forward to this course because I´m much better speaking English than writing it and I thought that the course would be more fun than the normal ones where we only go throught the annoying grammar. And it would be nice to have this more relaxed course at the beginning of the school year when my brain´s are still on a vacation.
But I didn´t have any high expectations for this course, I just assumed that we would be talking in a different
situations and that´s it.
I can´t remember the second week that well but I remember that the topics that we discussed were quite normal and not that challenging but the conversations went better because I got more comfortable talking in English.
VastaaPoistaI know I shouldn´t write what we did on our lessions but I have to mention the time when Sonja´s boyfriend visited our school. It was fun to talk English to a person who didn´t understand ANY Finnish so I couldn´t just say in Finnish the words I didn´t know, so I had to explain them using other words
So this was the week that we had a substitute teacher (not sure). We went through some word stess things(?) and they were hard! I have always thought that pronunciation and that kind of stuff would be easy to me but no, they were very challenging. I guess that is a good thing because I want to improve my English.
VastaaPoistaNow I have no idea what happened when but so far I have enjoyed this course. I have gain more and more confidence to speak in English and the words just comes out of my mouth without thinking which is only a good thing!
VastaaPoistaMy feelings towards the depate... The first one went OK, I had some opinions but the second one... The topic was, well not that good. I really don´t have anything against immigration and I myself have lived abroad so comming up with statement against it was hard for me. I know that I could have made up some topic that interest me but I though that it wouldn´t mind me if I got a hard topic

VastaaPoistaAt the beginnig of the course I wasn´t nervous about it. But then when the test started I was so nervous. My reading was horrible, I forgot all the words and I couldn´t pronounce the words properly. Luckily we got to choose our partners so I had one of my best friends with me. That made it a bit more easier.
All in all I´m happy that the oral exam is over and now I can just forget all about it :D
